ERDF RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT GRANT SCHEME

The Research & Development Grant Scheme is designed to help enterprises meet today’s business challenges by supporting them carry out Research and Experimental Development activities leading to the development of new or significantly improved products, processes and services.  The scheme will co-finance the costs of wages, equipment, materials and contractual research specifically incurred as part of the research project. The ERDF Research & Development Grant Scheme Incentive Guidelines is the official document governing this incentive and includes details relating to eligible costs, applicable aid intensity and State Aid regulations.

Application Process

The third call for applications under this scheme closed on Tuesday, 3rd April, 2012 at noon. A total of 20 applications were received requesting a total grant value of € 2,450,847.44. Malta Enterprise is currently evaluating these applications.
