ERDF RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT GRANT SCHEME

The Research & Development Grant Scheme is designed to help enterprises meet today’s business challenges by supporting them carry out R&D projects leading to new products, processes and services. The scheme will co-finance the costs of wages, equipment, materials and contractual research specifically incurred as part of the research project. The ERDF Research & Development Grant Scheme Incentive Guideline is the official publication governing this incentive. The Incentive Guideline includes details on eligibility, State aid regulations and the value of aid that may be granted under this incentive.

The official application forms and its corresponding annexes can be downloaded from this website. Applicants should also download the Notes to Applicants which will guide applicants on how to apply and how the proposals will be evaluated.

The second call for applications for the ERDF Schemes closed on Friday 26th March, 2010 at noon.  A total of 28 applications were received requesting a Total Grant Value of € 4,030,946.38.  Malta Enterprise is currently evaluating these applications.
