ERDF SMALL START-UP GRANT SCHEME

 The ERDF Small Start-up Grant Scheme supports the growth of new enterprises having less than 50 employees. The scheme will reimburse 25% of the wage costs, rent, leasing and utility bills for Start-ups that have been operating for less than 3 years. The ERDF Small Start-up Grant Scheme Incentive Guideline is the official publication governing this incentive. The Incentive Guideline document includes details on eligibility, State Aid regulations and the value of aid that may be granted under this incentive.

The official application form and its corresponding annexes can be downloaded from this website. Applicants should also download the Notes to Applicants which will guide applicants on how to apply and how the proposals will be evaluated.

The third call for applications under this scheme closed on Friday 26th March, 2010 at noon.  A total of 43 applications were received requesting a Total Grant Value of € 1,814,658.84.  Malta Enterprise is currently evaluating these applications.
