ERDF International Competitiveness Grant Scheme

 The ERDF International Competitiveness Grant Scheme supports enterprises that are willing to establish a new market, or introduce a new service or product in an existing international market.  The incentive aims to facilitate the building of internal capacities within the enterprise so as to encourage more enterprises to internationalise.  The aid intensity for products supported under this incentive is set at 50% of the eligible costs in relation to items of expenditure incurred for market development costs, engagement of a Business Development Manager and active participation in International trade events.  The ERDF International Competitiveness Grant Scheme Incentive Guideline is the official document governing this incentive and includes details relating to eligible costs, applicable aid intensity and State Aid regulations.

Application Process

The fourth call for applications under this scheme closed on Tuesday, 3rd April, 2012 at noon.
A total of 48 applications were received requesting a total grant value of €3,234,222.35.
Malta Enterprise is currently evaluating these applications.
